Sarah Ongley
I provide straight forward advice and representation for both employers and employees on all employment law related matters including disciplinary processes, dismissals, personal grievances, contractual disputes, restructuring and redundancy. I am also regularly instructed as a workplace investigator.
In contentious matters, my focus is always on resolution at an early stage in order to avoid the stress and expense of a hearing.
I have 17 years’ post qualification experience and broad advocacy experience including regular mediations. I have represented clients in the Employment Relations Authority, District and High Courts of New Zealand, the Royal Commission on the Pike River Coal Mine Tragedy and in the London Fitness to Practice Panels on behalf of the UK General Medical Council.
